This web application is an analysis tool used to compare K-12 education spending statistics from the state to the national level.

Built using data from the National Center for Education Ststistcs (NCES), the goal of this application is to allows users to perform in-depth analyses showing how education funding is distributed.

What can I do with this tool

  1. Compare and constrast state(s) education spending statistics.
  2. Output a customized education spending report.
  3. View Facts and Figures on education spending statistics.

Getting Started

To get started with a comparison, choose an Analysis type from the menu bar. There are 2 analysis types to choose from Single State and Multiple State.

Single State compares a single state or region's spending for a given time period.

Multiple State allows for a comparison of multiple states or regions or even a comparison of a State Vs. U.S. national average.
